The Los Angeles Rams are coming off their first loss of the season, while the Seattle Seahawks snapped a two-game losing streak with a road win at San Francisco.

These two teams now have to turn around on short rest and play a key NFC West matchup on Thursday Night Football.

Point Spread: Los Angeles Rams (-2.5) at Seattle (Opened at -1)

Thursday Night Football Picks and Predictions

We’ll look to continue our 6-0 run across our last two prime-time game preview articles, but it won’t be easy with this even matchup. Here are a few that look interesting:

Russell Wilson OVER 1.5 Pass TDs (-165)

This game has a 54.5 point total, tied for the seventh-highest of Wilson’s career. He threw multiple touchdown passes in 13 of the other 16 games with a total of 51.0 points or higher.

The Seahawks are 8-8 SU and 8-8 ATS in those games, so Wilson throwing multiple touchdowns isn’t necessarily a guarantee of victory. But if the Seahawks score in this one, we project Wilson will be heavily involved.

Russell Wilson OVER 0.5 Pass INTs (+130)

Wilson has yet to throw a pick this year. That may be giving us some value on the over, because this type of matchup could feature some interceptions.

In similar games by spread and total, the quarterbacks for both teams threw a pick more than half the time. For the underdog, the quarterback threw at least one pick in 57.5 percent of games like this.

Getting it at plus money makes it interesting.

Los Angeles Rams -2.5

The Rams are coming off a game in which miscues did them in, as we noted in our Week 4 Betting Recap. Meanwhile, the Seahawks benefited from a +4 turnover margin even though the Niners significantly outgained them in yards.

The Seahawks rank 32nd in total yards allowed and in first downs allowed per game so far. The Rams also rank in the bottom quarter of the league in those categories, but their personnel and numbers from last year suggest they might be better equipped to turn it around.
