PPR Fantasy Football Rankings 2024

These are our PPR Fantasy Football rankings for 2024. They represent how we think players should be drafted in a PPR format, across all positions. You can check out our projections page, and rankings page for each individual position if you want to see how we rank players within their position for PPR Scoring.

How We Determined Value for the PPR Fantasy Football Rankings

The PPR Fantasy Football rankings are listed in order of “value.” That value calculation is determined by using a different baseline for each position, depending on scoring format and league size. Value is determined by comparing the player’s expected points to the expected points of the players at the same position who would be on the cutline to make a fantasy football roster.

The value is also adjusted based on how many starters are typically required at the position. Why do we do this? If you are in a league that starts 3 WR (or 2 WR and a Flex), but 1 QB, then it’s more likely that the WR you drafted early is going to be in your starting fantasy roster than the QB will be. You might not have a big dropoff between your top QB and the other QB on your roster.

Finally, value also includes consideration of how consistent the position is in fantasy football. Positions that are less consistent, like kicker and defense, have their value reduced.

Quarterbacks are ranked lower in our PPR Fantasy Football Rankings

As a group, the top quarterbacks are ranked lower in our PPR rankings than they are in standard ones, and are also lower than what you will see by average draft position list. But there’s a reason for this. In PPR scoring, the running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends all see point inflation due to receptions. Quarterbacks do not. So quarterbacks make up less of the total scoring relative to other formats, and are thus less valuable in PPR. We broke this down further in a blog post on why you need to consider your scoring system when drafting.
