Fantasy Football TE Rankings 2024

Here are our Fantasy Football TE rankings for 2024. You can see information like receiving yards, receptions, and touchdowns, as well as the projected fantasy points. If you want to see more detail that includes things like yards per catch, and targets, you can check out our fantasy football TE projections page.

You should use these 2024 Fantasy Football TE rankings as a guide, and can make adjustments based on personal feel and where players are typically being drafted as you see fit.

Tight End Tiers in the Fantasy Football TE Rankings

You can also use the differences in our projected points to identify tiers of players. A 10-point difference in projected fantasy points at the TE position, for example, may be one touchdown and 40 total yards of difference in our projected stats. That’s reasonably close, and a small adjustment could swap those rankings.

As in most years, the tight end position tends to have a few stars that project as being more likely to score than others at the position, and then a large tier of tight ends that could serve as starting options in fantasy football. This year, Sam LaPorta and Travis Kelce, with Trey McBride and Mark Andrews soon after.

But not much separates the group of tight ends that follows between Dalton Kincaid and David Njoku, as they are within 10 points of each other.

Waiting for Value with the 2024 Fantasy Football TE Rankings

You will find that our tight end rankings may not always match up with consensus. The tight end position, outside of the top few each year, can be highly volatile. A good strategy here is to compare the rankings to “average draft position” information and identify the best “bang for the buck” candidates to target in your draft. If you can get a guy in the 10th or 11th round that is projected very closely with another tight end being drafted in the 6th round, it doesn’t make as much sense to go for the earlier tight end.
