NFL Player Props Week 9: Yardage Over/Unders
We went 3-1 on yardage (and non-TD props) last week, which puts us at 16-18 on those for the year.
Here’s what we are rolling with for Week 9:
Bills QB Josh Allen Over 41.5 Rush Yards (-114)
Game: Buffalo Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs (Sun 4:25 ET)
Allen has cleared 41.5 rushing yards in three of his last four games. The lone miss came in a blowout win at Carolina when Buffalo led early, and he didn’t need to use his legs. A competitive matchup with Kansas City would likely increase his scrambling and designed-run volume. In his three recent overs, the Bills were either trailing or the game was tight in the fourth quarter.
The Chiefs have allowed the most quarterback rushing attempts this season and the third most quarterback rushing yards, which makes this prop look even better.
Where to place: Josh Allen Over 41.5 Rush Yards | -114 at FanDuel
Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown Over 75.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Game: Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings (Sun 1:00 ET)
St. Brown has cleared 75.5 receiving yards in five of his last six games. For what it’s worth, he also profiles well against Minnesota, posting 77, 112, 144, and 106 receiving yards in their matchups over the last two seasons. The Vikings’ secondary has shown cracks recently, allowing the Chargers and Eagles to get their passing games rolling. In a home divisional spot with steady volume, St. Brown is well-positioned to reach the over on this prop once again.
