Fantasy Football Flex Rankings 2023

These are our Fantasy Football Flex rankings for the combined positions of RB, WR, and TE. These are the position that can all be commonly started in a flex spot in leagues that use the position. Our 2023 fantasy football flex rankings are based on the projected stats of each player, using categories like rushing yards, receiving yards, receptions, and touchdowns scored. These rankings are then adjusted based on “value.”

How We Determined Value for the 2023 Fantasy Football Flex Rankings

The fantasy football flex rankings are listed by “value,” which is specific to each position, and each scoring format and league size. Value is determined by comparing the player’s expected points to the expected points of the players at the same position, who are on the cut line of being drafted in fantasy. The specific baseline, then, depends on the league size.

We also adjusted the value at each position by whether the position typically required multiple starters or not, as well as by the predictability of the position.

2022 Fantasy Football Flex Rankings are Also Sortable by Points

Ranking players by value can sometimes result in a player projected to score slightly fewer points being ranked ahead of another player at a different position. If you just want to draft the player projected to score the most points, you can sort the rankings by fantasy points scored to see how we project each player instead.
